How it works

Welcome to

Tired of having parking tickets? is the solution for you!

Creating your account only takes a few steps:

• Enter a username, password and yours informations

• Selection of means of communication (SMS, email or phone call) by which you receive your alerts which will save you parking tickets

• Enter your restrictions, the streets, days, hours and the streets side’s where you can’t park your car

Please note that this service is not connected to a GPS. In addition, can’t have the information of all ‘’no parking’’ signs in different cities. Therefore, you must enter the names of the streets where you usually park your car and the restrictions.

Here's a little video to understand the registration steps:

Detailed information

In 2010, more than 1,275,000 parking tickets were made and only to the city of Montreal, Quebec (Canada). In many cases, these violations are related to the fact that we forget that we parked our car on a street where later, you will not be allowed to park there any longer.

If you have more than one parking ticket per year, Parking-Alert can help

Parking-Alert offers a service that allows you to no longer have to worry about a parking ticket because now Parking Alert will notify you of your parking restrictions on the streets you have entered on a 24h/7 days or 365 days a year regardless of where you live in Canada, United States or everywhere around the world.

After creating your account, you will only have to enter the restrictions (according to the information shown on the signs prohibiting parking) that you want to be notified, the name of the streets, the days, the odd or even side of the street (according to civic addresses) and finally the hours of the ban parking interdiction.

Parking-Alert will send your alerts of parking restrictions depending on your choice of communication: texting (SMS) (Canada and USA), phone message (Canada and USA) or email (everywhere around the world).  These alerts will be sent 15, 30 or 45 minutes or as long as you would like to receive these alerts before the parking ban. You will then have all the time to move your car if it was parked on the street where there is no parking allowed and avoid, at the same time, to receive a ticket or a fine.

To better understand, here, for example, the case of a person who usually parks his car on the Adams street or on the Clark street. He seized the information from those two streets (found on signs prohibiting parking) and its restrictions.

  • Adams Street, between 8:30 and 11:30 Monday the odd side                              one alert
  • Adams Street, between 8:30 and 11:30 Wednesday the even side                      one alert
  • Clark Street, Monday and Wednesday between 16:00 and 18:30 the odd side    two alerts
  • Clark Street, Tuesday and Thursday between 8:30 and 11:30 the even side       two alerts

In this example, the person has requested to be notified 15 minutes before the parking restrictions, then he will receive two alerts to 8:10 to 8:15 on Monday and Wednesday for Adams Street, two alerts to 8:10 to 8:15 Tuesday and Thursday for Clark Street and finally two other alerts to 15:40 to 15:45 Monday and Wednesday for Clark Street.  Total : six alerts / week.  The person shall, when it receives the alert, go move the car if it is parked on the street affected by the alert.

Parking Alert firmly believes in making the difference for you.
